The college basketball season is into full swing this week. There are individual games and tournaments taking place across the country. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we make an early season visit with sportscaster Jim Barber of ESPN.
Jim talks about some of the teams that are nationally ranked. He shares his thoughts on the pre-season excitement around the Purdue Boilermakers, a team that’s ranked in the pre-season top ten. He also shares his thoughts on the re-building job that’s taking place with the Indiana Hoosiers and new head coach, Tom Crean.
Jim expects the Michigan Wolverines under Coach John Beilein to be improved this season and he tells us why.
In the Big East, Jim talks about the UConn Huskies who have had a couple of quiet seasons under head coach Jim Calhoun. Jim says that things could get noisy and successful again in the Nutmeg state this winter.
It’s a college basketball conversation with ESPN broadcaster Jim Barber on Sports Spectrum Today.
