This the first Saturday of November we talk about college football with an assistant coach at the University of Nebraska, Ron Brown. Ron was an assistant at Nebraska under Tom Osborne when the Huskers won the national championship in 1994, 1995 and 1997.

After working in ministry for the past four years, Ron is now back in coaching under first year head coach Bo Pelini. The new coaching staff has helped Nebraska make great strides this season. Ron talks about some of the improvements he’s seen in Lincoln and talks about the opportunity coaches have to influence young men.

The NBA season has begun and the college games will begin soon. We talk about real-life issues in basketball with a former college player at North Carolina, Hubert Davis. Hubert has also had an outstanding NBA career, mostly with the New York Knicks. He’s now a college basketball studio analyst for ESPN.

We also talk about the NFL with a former offensive lineman with the Pittsburgh Steelers Tunch Ilkin. Tunch is now the Steelers radio analyst, he brings us up-dates on the playoff race in the AFC and NFC. He also answers a few questions like—can the Steelers make the playoffs?  What’s wrong with the Colts and the Patriots
